With the opening next week of Righttime Medical Care’s urgent Care Center in Olney, Maryland residents will have access to the only urgent care facility in the area that accepts same-day appointments.

As part of Righttime’s commitment to providing the highest quality care, patients can make appointments either through Righttime’s Call Center or online and wait comfortably at home.

Patients can receive care for injuries and illnesses at Righttime, which also offers digital x-rays, on-site laboratory services and prescription services. Righttime’s success is reflected in its numbers as one of only 20 urgent care companies in the country with more than three locations.

On any given day, Righttime’s Call Center buzzes with activity. Open from 7:30 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year, several dozen representatives answer calls, serving as patient care advocates to determine the nature and severity of each patient’s illness and, when necessary, directing callers to other resources. Representatives also call patients back after their visits to ensure that patients are feeling better and have followed up with their primary doctors.

“What sets Righttime apart is a full complement of high-quality medical services to care for patients efficently and affordably, and focusing on the patients’ need for great service and caring” says Righttime’s CEO and Chief Pediatrician Robert G. Graw, Jr., M.D.

He adds, “We are giving love to our patients by being there for them when they need us, and patients and families appreciate that. Doctors love us because we help their patients when they are unavailable, but send patients back to them for follow-up care. Hospitals love us because we take the burden off their emergency rooms by providing care for non-life-threatening situations, and insurance companies love us because our costs are so much less than emergency rooms, while their subscribers love our services.”

Dr. Robert G. Graw, Jr.

Dr. Graw started Righttime Medical Care as Nighttime Pediatrics in1989 with several other private practice pediatricians. While he already knew infants and children rarely got sick at convenient times, he never imagined the need the need for care when doctors offices were closed would be fulfilled for years to come.

Over the past two decades, Nighttime Pediatrics expanded its hours and opened additional Care Centers, based on the growing demand to care for people of all ages. In early 2010, Nighttime changed its name to Righttime Medical Care to reflect its extended hours from 9am to midnight, every day of the year. Today, a significant portion of its patients are now adults.

Dr. Graw, an energetic visionary whose signature style includes wearing a bowtie every day, combined the art of medicine with modern technology and business concepts to grow from a single location and 12 employees to nine locations employing about 250 staff and providers. With more than 1.5 million patient visits since starting, it seems Righttime Medical Care has the right combination for future growth and continued success.
